Folk/rock duo the Indigo Girls inspired Naomi Less to pick up a guitar and learn how to play. They also, in a way, started Less on her road to becoming a Jewish music educator.
“Their songs had biblical illusions and calls to Jesus. I thought, I could do that, too,” but for Judaism, she says.
