The Agnon Involvement Program (AIP) helps close the gap between what tuition generates and our operating budget.
In 1994, The Agnon School’s Board of Trustees initiated a mandatory school program titled the Agnon Involvement Program (AIP). Your obligation:
Each family of a K-8th grade student is required to meet a $600 minimum contribution each year their child is enrolled. The requirement is part of the reservation agreement. (The commitment is per family, not per student.)
Your AIP commitment can be met by direct contributions to the school or by raising money for the school, but must be fulfilled by the last day of school of the current school year. The release of end-of-year reports and records is contingent upon all financial obligations being met, including AIP.
Fulfilling Your AIP Commitment
Your AIP commitment may be satisfied in many ways:
- A contribution to the ANNUAL FUND for Academic Excellence from you and/or a grandparent. We seek 100% participation in the Annual Campaign!
- Purchase of store coupons – a percent of the purchase goes towards AIP. This program involves all major grocery stores & kosher markets in town and a host of retailers and costs you nothing. (View the list of participating vendors.)
- Donations to the Annual Fund or Endowment Fund made in memory or honor of someone. A card is sent to the recipient.
- Purchase of education cards – cards you can send to acknowledge milestone occasions.
- Your purchase (or sale to non-Agnon families) of Agnon event tickets and fundraising items. (The AIP dollar or percentage credit will be specified on the various order forms relating to the specific event or sale.)
- Selling of gold through Rosenfeld Jewelry.
- Volunteering in the Agnon Library (NEW for 2009-2010 school year)
Examples of items you can purchase or sell to grandparents and non-Agnon families that earn AIP credit:
- Agnote Coupons and Store Gift Cards
- Reverse Raffle tickets
- Courtyard Bricks
- PTA Fund-Raising Items
Once you have met your AIP obligation, we hope you will continue to raise funds for the school. Don’t get caught at the end of the year with an AIP balance that is due – create a plan that will work for you.
